It is a wonderful hobby that, in some cases, can also become an interesting investment. Hockey enthusiasts, whether fans of the NHL or other leagues, are drawn to this hobby as it brings them closer to their idols and allows them to feel connected to the world’s top hockey competitions. This is especially true today, when acquiring a card featuring a piece of game-used equipment from their favorite player has become relatively easy.

That amazing feeling comes every time you manage to expand your collection with a piece you’ve been eagerly searching for.. Life is all about fulfilling dreams, and through hockey card collecting, many of our hockey-related dreams can come true.
Hockey Forums and Trade Markets
Hockey card collecting has changed significantly with the rise of the internet. Not only has the internet dramatically accelerated communication between collectors and provided instant access to news and newly released series, but it has also made buying and selling hockey cards much easier—both locally and internationally..
In 2011, we launched the Czech-Slovak online forum www.forum-hokej-karty.cz. One of its biggest advantages, besides the large number of visitors from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and other countries, is its excellent organization and wide range of categories. Here, you can trade cards, showcase your collection, or simply chat with fellow collectors.
The largest gathering of hockey card collectors takes place annually in Toronto. Known as the SportCard & Memorabilia Expo, this event attracts collectors from around the world. Events like this demonstrate that hockey card collecting isn’t just for kids—it is a major passion for many adults. The expo features over 400 large tables filled with all kinds of memorabilia, from affordable cards to thousand-dollar collectibles, pucks, replicas, game-worn jerseys, and an incredible number of card boxes. NHL legends are also present, offering autographs for those who purchase special tickets.
We attended the Toronto Expo for the first time in 2018 and can confirm that it is an unforgettable experience.
