2024-25 Upper Deck Tim Hortons Retrospective Rookies Hockey continues with the trend of a second set of cards for the Canadian restaurant. While the name suggests a big first-year presence, it’s more the “retrospective” aspect that makes up the checklist.

The base set is made up of 100 cards. In addition to NHL vets, there are some retired greats and PWHL players. This is a theme throughout the checklist. It’s a “now and then” approach with the main set. Although each base card has just one player, they’re shown from their rookie seasons and in the present (late in their careers for past stars).

Six standard insert sets are available. Of those, Initial Strides (1:3 packs), In the Books (1:4 packs), Celebrated Prodigies (1:6 packs) and Take a Bow (1:8 packs) are somewhat common.

Things get noticeably more tough with Starting Success, which has 15 cards with 1:24 pack odds.

Finally, Dynamic Debuts features five cards at 1:100 packs.

Autographs have always been scarce in Tim Hortons releases. It’s no different here. Debut Autographs has 16 signers with one landing every 7,200 packs. There are also Debut Season Autographs for Sidney Crosby (75 copies) and Nathan MacKinnon (25 copies).
